Caring Community Fund: Supports outreach to members in time of celebration, during illness, and to comfort our bereaved
Flower Fund: Provides support for bima flowers
General Fund: Provides general operating support for the current fiscal year
Genesis Landscape Fund: Supports care and maintenance of the gardens and grounds.
Library Fund: Supports the procurement of books for the temple library
Members Helping Members Fund: Provides financial support to members who need assistance
Memorial Garden Care Fund: Supports maintenance and upkeep of the temple’s cemetery section at Arborcrest Memorial and Washtenong Gardens.
Music Fund: Supports the various music programs at the temple
Oneg Fund: Supports congregational onegs following Shabbat services
Piano Fund: Supports the purchase and maintenance of keyboard instruments.
Professional Development Fund in Honor of Ronnie Simon: Supports leadership development for the professional staff. Established in honor of TBE’s former Executive Director, Ronnie Simon.
Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund: Provides funds to be used at the discretion of the Rabbi.
Religious Education Fund: Supports current and future school programs and scholarships
Social Action Fund: Supports social action projects and community initiatives
Spiritual Life Fund: Maintains the readiness of the sanctuary and chapel for prayer
Year of Torah Fund: Available to invest in ideas and programming that enhances the spiritual life of the congregation and the broader Jewish community.
Youth Fund: Supports youth programming
Youth Scholarship Fund: Provides scholarships for youth activities, including confirmation class, trips to Israel and attendance at URJ summer camps.
